Potatoes. :D

heyy...i noe veri long nv update liao and everyone is asking mii to update so..here i am. I was looking through my inbox and came across this really touching story. Though i had read it many times i still find it veri touching. It really is a wonderful story. here's the story:

There was once a guy who suffered from cancer... a cancer that can't be treated. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once.So he asked his mother and she gave him permission. He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store.

He saw a young girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.She looked up and asked, "Can I help you?" She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen before and wanted to kiss her right there.He said "Uh... Yeah... Umm... I would like to buy a CD." He picked one out and gave her money for it."Would you like me to wrap it for you?" she asked, smiling her cute smile again.He nodded and she went to the back.

She came back with the wrapped CD and gave it to him. He took it and walked out of the store. He went home and from then on, he went to that store everyday and bought a CD, and she wrapped it for him. He took the CD home and put it in his closet. He was still too shy to ask her out and he really wanted to but he couldn't. His mother found out about this and told him to just ask her.So the next day, he took all his courage and went to the store. He bought a CD like he did everyday and once again she went to the back of the store and came back with it wrapped. He took it and when she wasn't looking, he left his phone number on the desk and ran out...!!!RRRRRING!!!

The mother picked up the phone and said, "Hello?"It was the girl!!! She asked for the boy and the mother started to cry and said, "You don't know? He passed away yesterday..." The line was quiet except for the cries of the boy's mother. Later in the day, the mother went into the boy's room because she wanted to remember him. She thought she would start by looking at his clothes. So she opened the closet. She was face to face with piles and piles and piles of unopened CDs. She was surprised to find all those CDs and she picked one up and sat down on the bed and she started to open one.Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out of the wrapper, out fell a piece of paper.

The mother picked it up and started to read it.It said: Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, JacelynThe mother opened another CD... Again there was a piece of paper. It said: Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jacelyn.

Time waits for no one. Treasure your friends now as you might never see them again. The memories of the past six years of my life had been the greatest. The laughs and the cries i shared with my friends will nv be forgotten. So to my friends out there, even if i might never talk to you again in my life, all of you are special to me and your existence made a huge difference to my life.Everyone needs a friend, someone whom they can count on when they are down.

Sometimes we might feel as though we have no friends at all, that there is no one in this world who cares about you. But once you think about it, you will remember and take comfort in the thought and memories that there are someone out there who truly cares about you and always will. My dearest friends, I'll always be there for you till the end and stand by your side forever and ever.

Friends come into our lives for a reason, a season and a lifetime.When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.When a friend is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desires fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

When a friend comes into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real.

LIFETIME friendships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid friendship foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the friend and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
